Meet Dr. Alisa Lewis
My first passion was working with children and families, and I began my work experience as a front-line counselor in a group home in San Francisco.
Completing my Master’s Degree in Social Work at NYU, I had the honor to work with Holocaust survivors, Russian immigrants, and the elderly.
In Washington DC I received my PhD in Clinical Social Work. While there I worked with people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, members of the LGBTQ community and those dually diagnosed with mental health disorders and addictions for over 10 years.
At the World Bank Group I assisted adults in managing and improving symptoms of burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions.
Back home in the Bay Area, I have had the pleasure of supporting adults in high pressure work situations to better manage stress, anxiety and imposter syndrome.
