Meet Dr. Alisa Lewis

My name is Dr. Alisa Lewis, and I hold a PhD in Clinical Social Work. I am currently located in the Bay Area, California. I work with high-pressure professionals from both the technology sector and various public and private sectors. My focus is on helping adults manage and improve symptoms related to burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I offer both conventional and holistic assessments for adults in high-pressure work environments, guiding them in better managing stress, anxiety, and imposter syndrome.

 

One of the mantras I embrace for my clients is a powerful quote from Buddha: "You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection." This reminder inspires us to seek therapy as we embrace our journeys towards self-discovery and healing. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone possesses inner strength, and therapy is a pathway to accessing this natural resource.
